Direct feedback is rare. Often we turn concrete areas for improvement into packed tips, which may have less effect than the direct message would have had. At Tough Love, Sweet Love, in the first part of the workshop, we give participants direct feedback on how they pitch or present. In our feedback, we are constructive, but clear. In the second part of the workshop, we respond with only positive feedback. And this has an effect. We see that participants in this workshop go back to what their story is really about.
